Snoop Dogg: Dropping Heat

Snoop Dogg is getting ready for what may be the hottest stretch in his career.

Fresh from the summer's Project Revolution tour which saw the Doggfather rocking out with monsters such as Korn and Linkin Park, Snoop re-connected with long-time homies, Nate Dog and Warren G to revive their supergroup 213. The trio released their debut 213: The Hard Way which went to No. 1 in Southern California.

Earlier this year, Snoop also burned up screens with appearances in comedic movies such as Starsky & Hutch, Old School and Soul Plane, plus a hosting stint on Saturday Night Live which reportedly brought the show some of its highest rating numbers of the year.

You'd think after all that activity, Snoop would take the Fall off to kick back before the holidays, but it seems now he's busier than ever.

In November, he will drop his latest solo album titled Snoop Dogg R&G: Rhythm & Gangsta The Masterpiece.

Featuring guest stars such as Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes (whom he teamed up with for his last mega-hit "Beautiful") the set's first single, “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” which also features Pharrell, has been generating major heat on the charts as well as in radio spins and video rotation. Snoop Dogg's latest also features appearances from 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, Nelly, Lil Jon and Trina, with a shoutout to the old school with guests such as legendary P-Funk bassist Bootsy Collins and Gap Band frontman Charlie Wilson.

Also set to drop in November is Snoop Dogg's shoe collection called “The One and Only,” based loosely on the classic Pony design.

In addition to the shoes, Snoop will release the Puff Puff Pass Tour DVD, which gives you behind the scenes footage of the infamous tour and answers the question "Did Snoop Dogg really stop smoking weed?"

And that's not all...
